Protection for CPCV and off-plan buyers

The build takes months. The builder's situation can change in hours.

After buying an ObraXRAY report, Continuous Protection keeps monitoring the builder through the build. If an insolvency, relevant proceeding, public debt or critical change appears, you get an alert before finding out too late.

Verify the builder in your CPCV

If you already have a report for this company, we open the extension. If not, we show the normal verification first.

Active monitoring

Alerts while the build is underway

Report coverageActive

The extension stacks on top of the current coverage end date. It does not restart the report or change the original PDF.

0

automatic renewals or hidden monthly fees

If a relevant change is detected, ObraXRAY sends an email with the event and context. For critical alerts we also send an immediate SMS - just confirm your phone in Settings.

WHY IT EXISTS

30 days to file a claim.

The Portuguese context that makes Continuous Protection essential for anyone who paid a deposit on a long construction project.

The Palmela case

The Palmela case showed what happens when buyers depend on late news: 114 families affected and around 27 million euros in claimed credits. For anyone who already paid a deposit, the difference between knowing early and knowing late can be decisive.

How it works

A simple extension for the period where you are most exposed.

The full report remains a one-off purchase. Continuous Protection only increases the monitoring and alert window when the included 90 days are not enough for a long build.

01

Buy or open the report

The extension applies to a specific company and an existing purchased report. If you have not bought one yet, start with the normal builder verification.

02

Choose the duration

Add 12, 24 or 36 months on top of the current coverage end date. Extensions stack and there is no auto-renewal.

03

Receive actionable alerts

We keep checking critical sources and email you when insolvency, proceedings, public debt or relevant changes appear. For the most urgent events you also get SMS if you've confirmed your phone in Settings.

What it watches

It is not insurance. It is continuous watch over the sources that often show the first signals.

Continuous Protection does not guarantee delivery and does not replace a lawyer. It reduces the worst operational risk: only finding out something happened after the useful deadline has passed.

Insolvency, PER and CIRE events detected on CITIUS.

New relevant court proceedings and changes in existing proceedings.

Presence on public tax or Social Security debtor lists.

Critical changes to the IMPIC construction license or certificate.

Risk signals linked to directors, related companies or repeated patterns.

Plain-language context so you know whether to contact a lawyer, bank or broker.

Durations

Choose coverage for the likely length of the build.

The practical rule is simple: cover until deed, handover, work acceptance or the end of your contractual risk.

12 months

+24 EUR

For CPCVs with a nearby deed, long renovations or builds that are already near completion.

24 months

Most common

+49 EUR

The balanced option for off-plan purchases, homes under construction or timelines with some uncertainty.

36 months

+69 EUR

For multi-phase developments, likely delays or when you want to cover the full build cycle.

One-off payment. No auto-renewal. Each extension adds time on top of the current coverage of the purchased report. The PDF stays as the original snapshot; online data and alerts continue during coverage.

Re-verify or extend

Two different actions for two different moments.

If you need a fresh snapshot today, re-verify. If you are already exposed during a build and want to be warned when something changes, extend coverage.

Re-verification - 9.99 EUR

Creates a new snapshot, new PDF and new 90-day window. Useful before signing, paying a milestone or closing out.

Continuous Protection - from +24 EUR

Keeps the same report and prolongs alerts through the build. Useful after signing a CPCV, buying off-plan or hiring a long project.

Questions

The essentials before deciding

Can I buy Continuous Protection without a report?

Not directly. The extension is linked to an ObraXRAY report for a specific company. If you have not bought one yet, verify the builder first and then extend coverage.

What happens to the PDF?

The PDF remains the snapshot of the original report and stays in your account. The extension does not create a new PDF; it extends online access and alerts.

Does this replace a lawyer or insurance?

No. It is monitoring of public sources and risk alerts. If you receive a serious alert or already paid money, you should speak to a lawyer quickly.

When should I buy the extension?

Ideally before the included 90 days end, so there is no gap in alerts. If the build will last longer than your current coverage, it makes sense to extend early.

If you already paid a deposit, do not let monitoring end halfway through the build.

Enter the builder's NIF. If you already have an active report, we open the extension. If not, you start by verifying the company.

Verify the builder in your CPCV

You do not need to choose the duration yet. First we confirm the company and eligibility.
